Pinup girls are a unique part of Americana that cannot be duplicated and just can’t be beat. The pinup girl adorned many a young man’s wall and many GI’s barracks. The pinup girl helped fly-boys make their way across Europe dropping their bombs to give people freedom. And the pin-up still looks beautiful.

Alberto Vargas is the most well-known of the 20th-century pinup artists, and he is probably the leader among abilities as well as name recognition. His work was published for many decades in the pages of Esquire magazine as well as Playboy magazine, and his luscious ladies were imitated and paid-tribute-to by many other talented artists.
